Do you want to gain valuable work experience in the largest Fast Moving Consumer Goods player in the Nordic countries?
Print Management is a process in Orkla to ensure efficient handling and control of design files and artworks via an online workflow. This process enables Orkla to work efficiently with for example, color consistency, quality and control of packaging material. Corporate Services owns this process and coordinates the daily work together with our suppliers. Now we are looking for a student to work part-time, 15-20 hours a week to cover for our current Print Management Coordinator while on parental
leave, until at least 31st of December 2020. In addition, we would love to discuss a potential thesis project in the spring of 2021. The topics we have in mind are within Indirect Procurement and value creation.
You will work with print management across all companies in Orkla Foods, Confectionary & Snacks and Care. The objective is to maintain and continuously improve the global design-to-print infrastructure as well as coordinate marketing, procurement and suppliers (design agencies, printers, repro suppliers). Our ambition is to start up early in August.
• Support the business units in the process and develop the process continuously.
• Development of training material, and conduct training in system and process
• Monitor and follow up on process discipline and execution based on defined KPIs
• Counterpart and operative responsible for repro agency’s lead contacts
• Coordination of the external design-to-print contacts (printers, agencies)
• Follow up on print quality and drive print quality improvement
• Work close with commercial resources in Orkla Group Procurement to aid procurement initiatives related to design-to- print
The position will be located in Orkla HQ in Malmö.
We are looking for an ambitious team player with excellent communication skills that has some experience in managing small projects. Interaction with Orkla colleagues at all levels is an integral part of your daily work and you will be a part of our global procurement community, so you that it something you need to find exciting to succeed in this role. As a person you are structured, pragmatic, easy-going and have a flair to build strong relations with others. You are embarking on your final year with the ambition of working for an exciting global company, preferably with an interest in Procurement, Supply Chain or similar. You are fluent in a Scandinavian language and proficient in English, both spoken and written.
